Meet Author Ian Madover
Ian is a first time Children’s Book author who was inspired to write this based on the true story of families in Australia who take in baby Kangaroos and raise them with their own kids. Born in Queens, NY, Ian has been a marketer and entrepreneur his whole life, He has always loved creating things and reaching people in genuine ways with an authentic message. This book is no different. With his loveable and relatable characters, Ian hopes to help make every family out there, no matter their make-up – feel seen, heard and loved. Ian lives in NYC with his wife, three kids and three dogs.
Meet Illustrator Rosalie Street
Rosalie is an Australian fine artist and illustrator who has always loved creating things. She has a background in costume and theatre design and a passion for storytelling and collecting picture books. She is the illustrator of numerous books, including Shadow Play, Tobias Blow, and I Am. Rosalie enjoys watching nearby kangaroos on her walks and is particularly fond of her pet house rabbits. The illustrations for this book were inspired by her hometown on the Mornington Peninsula, Vic, Australia.
